Penn State College of Education Social Dreaming Interest Form
This form is to gather information for individuals who are interested in participating in social dreaming for the College of Education.

This project is an attempt to address all the ways that the CoE could support members of our community who are historically marginalized in their lives outside their direct interactions with the College. For example, there is a dearth of Black hair establishments, international students can struggle to find housing because of documentation, or it can be difficult to access/find culturally significant food and experiences here without knowing someone or doing it yourself. These are all things that create stress and barriers to being a successful member of our CoE community. This project is attempting to meet the needs of many racialized groups in our College by engaging in dialogue and social dreaming. What this means is that you will have the opportunity to talk about your experiences in and outside the College as a racialized person with people who identify similarly to you and work towards imagining what you would prefer your experience be like. Through this process, facilitated by expert facilitators, you will help us create a set of recommendations for the College to enhance programming that goes beyond offering new classes or professional development for instructors. This program is one of a kind and has the potential to help reshape what the College can and does do to support our community. We are looking for any and all members of our community to join us in this experience!
