Hello Colleagues,

Argonne’s Education Programs and Outreach department has created a database to help match Argonne staff and UChicago students and staff with educational volunteer opportunities.

Throughout the year, Argonne’s Education Programs and Outreach department receives multiple requests for educational volunteers. This mailing list gives registered employees direct access to educational volunteer requests and the opportunity to connect with the next generation of scientists and engineers.
 
Educational volunteers choose the grade levels and types of opportunities they wish to participate in.  You will receive a monthly list with all upcoming opportunities and then tailored emails based on the preferences you select. On-site and offsite opportunities include local science fairs, guest speaking, career days, and outreach events
 
Educational volunteers will have the ability to accept invitations based on interest and availability.  Volunteers are not obligated to accept every invitation or request.
