Please read the below information carefully, as it provides an overview of the position, as well as required / desired characteristics. As a reminder, applications are due by April 15th, 2024.

You Travel & Teach is hiring one summer staff members to assist with leading the Italy summer program, which is expected to last just over six weeks.

In this role, the summer staff member is expected to serve as a co-leader for the group, accompanying YT&T participants throughout the summer on their various activities. This includes coordinating logistics for our various day and overnight trips, as well as assuming responsibility for our participants as they complete their volunteer teaching activities at the summer camp. While at camp, in addition to supporting our participants as they complete their teaching activities and handling any logistical issues that arise, you are also expected to complete volunteer teaching activities.

In return for your hard work as a summer staff member, you will receive the following benefits:

Airfare to and from the program country (up to $1,000)
A $1,500 stipend paid at the conclusion of the program
