On October 10, 2023, Catholic teachers from across Hamilton will be gathering at Carmen's Banquet Centre at 4:30pm to rally in support of our Provincial Bargaining Team. As you are likely aware, progress at the central bargaining table has been remarkably slow, the product of a Trustees' Association and Crown which have yet to engage in meaningful dialogue in the pursuit of a fair deal for Catholic teachers. Stymied at the table by unwilling bargaining partners, the Provincial Bargaining Team has now turned to the Association's membership to seek a strike mandate.
To assist us with event logistics, we are seeking to understand the number of teachers who will be in attendance on October 10. In return for your registration, you will receive a FREE t-shirt to wear at the rally, and beyond, to demonstrate the strength of our Association and to show that we are united in our resolve for a fair deal for Catholic teachers.
Quantities are limited. Those who wait to register may not be guaranteed a shirt on the day of the rally. When stock runs out, you will be added to a waitlist for a second order which will be put through after the rally.
