Request for Proposals – Breakout Sessions at MESPA Institute 2024

Proposals are due on or by Wednesday August 30, 2023. 

We encourage you to submit early. All proposals will be reviewed by the MESPA Educational Advisory Committee and evaluated for relevance, quality, potential to fill current topical interest, and balance across all session offerings.

About MESPA 2024 Winter Institute...
The Minnesota Elementary School Principals’ Association (MESPA) seeks proposals for 1-hour breakout sessions at our annual conference, MESPA Institute. We are seeking engaging presenters with practical approaches for MN elementary and middle-level principals that are tied to concrete applications and results. Active school administrators are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are seeking proposals for concurrent 60-minute breakout sessions to be offered on Wednesday, February 7, and Thursday, February 8. Submissions should be aimed explicitly at elementary school principals and fit into at least one of the strands below:
o   Equity
o  Mental Health for students, staff, and self
o   Principal Essentials (leadership development, school culture, evaluation, coaching, math, EL, special education, technology, etc.)
o   Literacy
o   Non-Exclusionary Discipline

NEW to Institute: projectors, speakers, HDMI cables and dongles will be provided in each breakout session conference room. PLEASE bring your own laptop.
