Your child has an opportunity to join Drama Club to explore theater concepts, learn about the theater arts, meet new friends, and have fun. The goal for the club is to bring the joy and power of drama to RMS students. It offers participants the chance to experience the excitement and rewards of theatre arts while developing poise, social skills, confidence and the ability to work with others to reach a common goal. Through the use of teacher-guided acting and theater games, participants will learn to express themselves with their mind, voice, and body. All of the activities help students tap into their creativity and expand their imaginations. The aim is for students to gain an appreciation for the arts, while developing their individual talents and creativity toward self growth.
Students are expected to be ON TIME and PARTICIPATE FOR THE TIME ALLOTTED. Students are to be kind, respectful and courteous to one another or they will not be allowed to participate in the drama club.
