The Brewers Association Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee welcomes participation from all members of the craft brewing community. The DEI Committee is comprised of four subcommittees--Mentorship and Professional Development, Philanthropy and Outreach, DEI Marketing and Communications, and DEI Education. The committee additionally forms ad hoc working groups and task forces to address the evolving needs of the craft brewing community. Subcommittee chairs and members of the Brewers Association Board of Directors sit on the DEI Committee.

Mentorship and Professional Development - The Mentorship and Professional Development Subcommittee works to improve the accessibility of the craft brewing community and strengthen pathways to professional success for members of underrepresented populations. (Mentorship Program)

Philanthropy and Outreach - The Philanthropy and Outreach Subcommittee works to identify and facilitate opportunities to financially support individuals, organizations, and initiatives that are aligned with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee’s goals. (Diversity & Inclusion Event Grants)

Marketing and Communications - The Marketing and Communications Subcommittee advises the Brewers Association and its membership on inclusive marketing and communication practices. It works to amplify the voices and experiences of underrepresented populations in craft beer and cultivate and capitalize upon opportunities to improve DEI storytelling in the craft brewing community. DEI Education - The DEI Education Subcommittee works to promote and facilitate education about DEI best practices and improve cultural competency among Brewers Association members and the broader craft brewing community.
