All competitions to be played in Mens & Women Divisions depending on number of entries received. Last year we had sufficient entries to have two Divisions for both Women and Men.
PROGRAMME
Wednesday 15th May – Complementary practice round available from 1.30 pm
Thursday 16th May - Play commences from 10.00 am
Friday 17th May – Play commences from 8.30 am with prize giving at approximately 3.00 pm.
GENERAL INFORMATION
· Entry Fee for Men & Ladies is $50.00
· Nearest the Pin and Two’s Competitions each day are included in the Entry Fee
· Field limited to the first 120 pre-paid Entries
Fully self-contained mobile homes/caravans may park at the Golf Club without charge. A donation would be appreciated.
Evening access to Bathrooms in Clubhouse will be available.
Complimentary practice round is available from 1.30 pm Wednesday 15th May 2024. Please book on-line for a starting time.
Club has a limited number (13) of hire carts available for hire at $35.00 per round. Please include cost with entry money. Bookings will need to be made early to Admin Office, at Te Awamutu Golf Club on (07) 871 5661 or “info@teawamutugolf.co.nz “

1. Open to financial men & women members of a NZGA affiliated golf club and who are members of a Veterans Golf Assn and are aged 50 years and over as at 18th May 2023.
2. Entry Fee of $50.00 per person must be paid at time of entry.
3. Entries close on Thursday 11th May, 2023 or on receipt of the first 120 paid entries.
GOLF
1. The Rules shall be those of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews in conjunction with any Local Rules of the Te Awamutu Golf Club.
2. Any protest must be lodged in writing with the Committee within 30 minutes of completion of the round. The decision of the Committee is final.
3. All handicaps will be verified from the NZGA Slope Handicap system and Course Handicaps will be allocated accordingly.
4. Competitors must register at the Starters Desk in the main Lounge at least 20 minutes prior to their allocated tee time and must be at their designated tee at least 10 minutes before their start time.
5. Current “On the Day” handicaps will apply.
6. On the Thursday, cards will be pre-printed and sorted into playing fours and will be available from the Starter on each of the Tees. On the Friday, Competitors are requested to print their scorecards from the internal DotGolf printing booth prior to commencement of play. Assistance will be available to help if required.
7. Scorecards must be completed correctly, duly signed, and returned for handicap purposes, immediately after the completion of each round.
8. Scores must be maintained on official hardcopy scorecards, digital scores from cell phones will not be accepted.
9. Ties will be decided electronically, on countback, as set out in the NZ Golf Club Manual.
10. The Committee reserves the right to alter the program or times either before or after play commences.
11. The Committee shall have the power to refuse the entry of any person without being required to give any reason for such refusal.
12. All competitors must play at the times set down on the starting sheets.
13. No competitor may receive more than one prize, I e. one person one prize
14. Entries must be made on the official entry form.
15. The maximum course handicap for men shall be 36 and 48 for women.
16. First Round draw and starting times will be e-mailed to all competitors to the e-mail address as supplied per their entry form by Monday 13th May 2024.
