Hello IVC Students!

An exciting opportunity is here for those that may have interest in a career in higher education. ELEVATE AAPI @ IVC wants to send students to APAHE, Asian Pacific American in Higher Education, a national professional organization dedicated to the growth, support, and representation of Asian Pacific Islander community members as well as future and current professionals in higher education. Therefore Students, Faculty, Classified Staff, and Administrators are welcome and have attended APAHE. Pre-pandemic in 2018, IVC sent a total of10 students where four IVC students presented and gave a performance at the conference. We're looking to send a group of students and restart the tradition of having IVC voices at APAHE.

APAHE has returned to an in-person event and is taking place on April 6-8, in Long Beach, CA (The Westin Long Beach 333 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach).

If you're interested in attending, IVC will cover your Registration Fees (Up to $500) and reimburse students for parking at the conference. Lunch or Meal money will provided for attendees of the Pre-Conference (April 6) Details TBD. Students will be provided continental breakfast and lunch for the main conference itself (April 7-8).
