As a Weber County 4-H Youth Leader you will receive:
Recognition at 4-H events and Achievement Night
Leadership shirt and jacket
Gold award participation buckle (if earned)
Resume/Scholarship building experience
New friendships, team building, networking opportunities, life skills

Criteria:

Must have a 3.0 Cumulative GPA or higher

Must be available to serve from September 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024

Must enroll in the 2023-2024 4-H program selected the project area you will represent

Attend County Youth leadership Retreat (During the day)

Attend County and Project leadership meetings

Participate in Service Projects

Teach and attend Clinics

Attend County Events not in your project area

Participate in Fundraisers

Participate in Achievement Night

Participate in 4-H Parade Float

Bring a non 4-H friend to a 4-H activity

Present and represent 4-H at a local city council meeting.

Participate in State 4-H events

In applying to become a Weber County Jr. Livestock Ambassador, I understand the duties and responsibilities and have discussed them with my parents/guardian. If I am chosen as a Jr Livestock Ambassador I will have time to serve and am willing to accept the responsibilities and duties of a Weber County Jr. Livestock Ambassador, and will put 4-H as one of my top priorities.
