"HOW TO FIND A GHOST" SURVEY
Howdy!

(I am a survey.)

Thank you for opening me, this supernatural survey about the metaphysically paranormal side of life (and death). If it were up to me (just a humble survey), I would take this opportunity to opine on the philosophical nature of surveys. But my creators have informed me that I should leave the expression of viewpoints to you, the survey taker. (Where are you taking me? On a date? As a hostage?)

I exist to collect data and stories about people’s relationship (or lack thereof) to the paranormal/supernatural/psychical/various other synonyms. Since there are so many different terms for the same general subject matter, I will attempt to keep it simple by using "metaphysical" as a single, catch-all term. You are welcome to mentally substitute your preferred term(s). I am also gathering information to see how ideas about the metaphysical relate to other beliefs people hold.

While fascinated by people’s views of the world, I am not collecting data to satisfy my curiosity. Nor am I harvesting data so that your robot overlords can more thoroughly comprehend the way people's beliefs tie to their everyday lives. No. Definitely not that.

Rather, I am collecting this information to help a group of theatre artists create a show (tentatively) titled, “How to Find a Ghost.” The information I provide (with your assistance, I suppose) will shape the entire direction of the show! With permission, some responses may be used or quoted in the final script.

To create a well-informed production, the artists will ask a sampling of folks who completed the survey for a person-to-person interview. When you come to my end (Tehee! I said "end"), I will ask if you are willing to include your name in the pool of people who may be interviewed. If you are, I will ask for your contact information. This does not guarantee someone will contact you. (PLEASE NOTE: Unless you opt to include your name in the interview pool, all answers will be completely anonymous.)

Thank you for helping me help a plucky band of artists create a show... it has been my life’s mission ever since I was a glimmer in the eye of an artist during a pre-production planning meeting.
