AIA Detroit Survey for those willing to assist in the volunteer effort of producing and distributing Face Shields

This survey is an attempt to rally the local AEC profession to support those volunteers in the industry already producing Face Shields, and also to mobilize more individuals who are willing and able! The need is great, and the time is now!

I am interested in donating funds to firms/individuals that are volunteering and able to produce Face Shield components

I am interested in helping locate the materials for those already in production, especially finding local sources for the Shields' 5mm thick, clear plastic (acetate, PVC) sheet

I am interested in 3D-printing the head-band component for the Face Shields (you must already have access to a 3D printer for this option)

I am interested in laser-cutting the plastic shield component and delivering/mailing them to the head-band teams for assembly (you must already have access to a laser cutter for this option)

I can provide technical support (remotely) to others operating 3D printers/laser cutters

I am interested in calling and coordinating healthcare facilities that need the Face Shields, and adding that information to a shared Google document for Metro-Detroit coordination

I am interested in picking up and delivering the completed Face Shields to healthcare facilities
