Join us for a celebration of life for Paul Schrade, the Region 6 Director of the United Auto Workers who dedicated his life to social and economic justice.
In his honor, we will mobilize support for the Young Worker Rights Project, which provides funding to a full-time teacher dedicated to educating LAUSD high school students about their labor rights.
The celebration will feature UFW leader Dolores Huerta, members of the Robert Kennedy family, LAUSD Board President Jackie Goldberg, Senator Maria Elena Durazo, LA County Federation of Labor President Yvonne Wheeler, UAW Region 6 Director Mike Miller, UTLA President Cecily Myart-Cruz, and UCLA Labor Center Director Kent Wong.
