• Taking part in the research is voluntary; whether or not you take part is up to you.

We invite you to take part in a research study about the potential of a 6 week online course to address the test preparation needs and writing content and pedagogical knowledge gaps of potential teacher candidates because you meet the criteria as a potential teacher candidate who needs to pass their entry-level licensure exams.
This research is being funded by the University of Houston New Faculty Research Grant
In general, your participation in the research involves participation in a 6-week online writing course targeted for educators, completion of a pre-survey and post-survey, and participation in follow up interviews. You will also provide your entry-level licensure exam results.
There are no known risks to participate in this study. You will receive compensation for participation in the form of a gift card.
