Play Park Consultation August 2021 (closing date:13/09/21)
There has been considerable progress with the Play Park in Llangors thanks to the efforts of many volunteers and organisers.  We have sturdy benches and picnic tables, some landscaping, planters, and initial development of areas for a more wild nature garden alongside the renovated replica ‘round house’.  Also a boule pitch has been placed on the old village hall site.
We have had a successful start to its use with "Fun in the Park” day, thanks to all who came and participated.
We have now reached a stage of further consultation in order to apply for more funding.                                        Good play equipment and its placement is an expensive process and it is important to spend wisely for the space available and consult with potential users.
In choosing play equipment we want to encourage our children of all ages to balance, climb, jump, swing, slide, take risks, develop confidence and co-operate with others. We also need to be inclusive with provision for those with mobility issues.                                                                                                                                                                         Please could you give some thought to this important process, discuss with your children, so that we may go further with our commitment to provide a safe and stimulating environment for them to play.

Dependant on funding, apart from areas to run, play and use their imagination we aim to have a selection of items for all age groups. Use of the outside community hall wall as a low climbing wall space might be an idea. Do make suggestions.
