2024 Summer Classes
Classes with Ms. Campos will be in person or online (your choice).
Classes with Mr. Simon will be in person or online for 5 weeks (your choice) then online for 3 weeks.
Classes with Mr. Zybul, Ms. Lopez, and Mr. Liang will be online only.
Summer 2024 classes will run from June 10th – August 3rd.

Once we receive this form, we will confirm availability then send an invoice or contact you to give alternative times. Be sure to whitelist info@simonabc.com in your email.

Ask for a group code by emailing info@simonabc.com.  If you are part of a group and more kids join your group after you have already paid, you may request a non-transferable credit for future classes.

GATHER YOUR FRIENDS FOR HUGE DISCOUNTS!  DISCOUNTS EXPIRE ON 5/1/23.
Students may be in separate classes and separate grades.  If you sign up and pay then add more kids to your group, you will receive a non-transferable credit for future classes.  No retroactively joining groups, though.
2 kids signing up = 5% off each
3 kids signing up = 10% off each
4-5 kids signing up = 15% off each
6-7 kids signing up = 20% off each
8+ kids signing up = 25% off each

The pricing below us per student. If you mix classes of different rates, the rate tier will be calculated based on the total number of classes.

Group Pricing (not with Mr. Simon):
1 class per week for 8 weeks (8 hours) = $549
2 classes per week for 8 weeks (16 hours) = $999
3 classes per week for 8 weeks (24 hours) = $1349
4 classes per week for 8 weeks (32 hours) = $1649

Mr. Simon's Group Pricing (5 weeks in person and 3 online):
1 class per week for 8 weeks (8 hours) = $999
2 classes per week for 8 weeks (16 hours) = $1899

Private Class Pricing (not with Mr. Simon):
1 class per week for 8 weeks (8 hours) = $1299
2 classes per week for 8 weeks (16 hours) = $2249
3 classes per week for 8 weeks (24 hours) = $3249
4 classes per week for 8 weeks (32 hours) = $4249

Groups have up to eight students.  
Private classes are one on one and customized.
Mr. Simon only offers private classes for college counseling and college applications.

College Counseling With Mr. Simon:
One hour trial = $199
One hour = $699
Up to 12 hours in one calendar year = $4999

College Applications and Essays With Mr. Simon:
All UCs or one private university = $14999
Additional schools = $2999 each
All UCs plus up to 20 private schools = $29999

SIMON ACADEMICS POLICIES - MUST READ!  ALL DATES, TIMES, TEACHERS, & POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

We take payments via digital check/ACH transfer through our provider, Bill & Pay.  Payment must be completed within 48 hours of invoicing to secure a spot.  Not paying means the spot may go to someone else.  

If a child misses a class, you may request a recording or, in the same week, a live class on our make-up request form. There are no refunds for missed classes.
A PRIVATE CLASS NEEDS 24 HOURS NOTICE TO RESCHEDULE.  IF WE RECEIVE LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE, WE WILL NOT PROVIDE A MAKE-UP, CREDIT, OR REFUND.
Up to 2 make-up class requests may be granted. Make-ups expire at the end of the summer session and are not guaranteed.
No refunds and no extensions for missed classes.

Cancellations before May 1st, 2024 receive the full payment minus a $20 fee per child.
Cancellations from May 1st, 2024 and before June 1st 2024 receive the full payment minus a $200 fee per child.
No cancellations or withdrawals will be accepted on June 1st, 2024 or later.

Because classes are available online and recorded, students who take vacations or travel are expected to attend online or receive videos to take the class asynchronously. No discounts will be given.

If your child never shows up or stops attending classes, their spot is still reserved and their classes are still used.  No credit, refund, or extension will be given.

Simon Academics may freely use student work as well as photos, videos, and recordings of students for blogging, social media, advertising, training, and educational purposes, without compensation.

Students are expected to listen to and obey teachers, complete all assigned work, and exert appropriate levels of effort. Students who are rude, disruptive, or dangerous may be asked to leave class temporarily or permanently, and there will be NO REFUNDS for behavior-related expulsions and suspensions.

Class Descriptions
Persuasive Writing teaches argumentative essay writing, using proof.
Literary Writing teaches how to write analysis of fiction, using textual proof.
Reading Comprehension uses novels, passages, worksheets, and test-style materials to teach reading comprehension, analysis, phonics, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
AP Language Writing teaches honors and AP-style persuasive writing.
AP Literature Writing teaches honors and AP-style literary response writing.
SAT/ACT Boot Camp is three days a week for one hour a day plus about 12 hours of homework per week, preparing kids in all subject areas for both exams.
AP Physics Preview provides an overview of the AP Physics curriculum.
AP Chemistry Preview provides an overview of the AP Chemistry curriculum.
AP Calculus Preview provides an overview of the AP Calculus AB curriculum.
Private classes are customized.  Subjects vary by the teacher.
