Curriculum
I will be teaching, Read 180. The read 180 class will have a structure where there is a whole group lesson followed by a 3 station rotation daily. Students will be given time to individually read and work on the read 180 computer system to monitor comprehension of material. There will also be small group lessons throughout the week emphasizing better reading practices and techniques. Grades will be earned by completing work and participating through the 3 workstations in the Read 180 curriculum.
I look forward to meeting and working throughout this year with all of the parents and students in my class. Working together we will have a fun, educational, and successful year. Occasionally for content or rewards we may view G or PG movies with parent permission.
Thank You
Sincerely,
Deanna Arnold
