MAPI is the first faith-based Domestic Violence Curriculum for individuals engaging in
aggression with their spouse or intimate partner. This two-day training will include:
- Introduction to Islamic Perspectives on Domestic Violence
- Review of Research on Batter’s Intervention Programs
- Access to the New PFP 12 Session Curriculum Including Session Plans, Activities, and Powerpoint Presentations for Each Session.
- Tips on Group Administration
- Suggested Evaluation Forms
- Resources for Practitioners
- Information on How to Become Certified as Court Approved Treatment Provider
- Ongoing Mentorship and Support
Who Is Eligible?
- Muslim Practitioners
- Master's Degree or Higher in a Mental Health Field
- State Professional License Holder’s Preferred
