Voices Story Swap
Do you ever feel like sharing stories from your immigrant journey or your dual Asian-American identity? Are there gripping tales of how have your ideas changed in your time here? A memorable, painful, joyful or hilarious moment that marks your immigrant life or culture?

Come to a monthly Zoom Voices Story Swap moderated by Off Kendrik and share your 6 minute stories.
- This could be a fully formed story or just a germ of an idea.
- Listen to stories and practice telling your own in a safe space - a Friday night hangout to relax and commune. Become part of this growing South Asian community of Story tellers and connect with others with similar backgrounds.
- The meetings will not be public and open only to those who have signed up.
- There will be a max limit (to keep the meeting small and foster community), spots will be first-come-first-serve. - Feedback will be available if you want it, from Off Kendrik moderators or from other tellers. Or you can just practice telling with no feedback at all.
- You can work on Stories here and bring them to the Voices (or other!) slams.

After signing up, expect to receive an email with the meeting link or, if the meeting is full, an alternative date.
See you there!

Where are you from in South Asia and how long have you lived in the U.S.? If you are a First Generation immigrant, this will refer to your family. If you are NOT South Asian, please tell us what role you played in the story and how it gave you insight into S. Asian immigrant life.
