Washington Youth Garden to jump-start the spring growing season in your school garden!
- Free supplies to prepare your garden for the upcoming season including straw mulch, compost, spring crop seeds (from Share-A-Seed) and cover crop seeds*, and spring seedlings (kale, collards, tatsoi, chard, strawberry slips)**
- Training at 11am on spring / summer school garden planning and preparing garden beds for spring planting (direct sowing / transplanting)
- Network with your fellow garden educators from across DC
