If we are going to avoid climate disaster, the use of oil, gas and coal must come to a rapid end. Hydrogen can replace the use of oil, gas and coal on big ships, long-haul vehicles and industry. That hydrogen needs to be green, produced using only renewable energy and water. Only then is it without emissions. Using fossil fuels to make hydrogen does not result in lower emissions.

The Daxing Park is building a world-leading hydrogen energy demonstration zone.

They will build a complete industry chain including hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and processing, manufacturing of core fuel cell components and whole vehicles, and application in different scenarios, with the aim to develop the hydrogen energy industry into a new major driving force for economic development.

Focusing on the functional positioning of "three zones and one portal"—coordinated development demonstration zone for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, the leading globally influential scientific and technological innovation zone, the new portal of international communication in the capital and the leading urban and rural development deepened reform zone, Daxing District is the demonstration zone in terms of city-industry integration, urban-rural integration, and ecological civilization construction.
