2024 Legislative Lobby Day at the Capitol, Friday, Feb. 23rd, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. A members-only event

On February 23rd, LWV Arizona is hosting Legislative Lobby Day at the Capitol. This event is only for members. Please ensure that your membership is current and your league affiliation is accurate. Inactive members' registration will be canceled. The last date to register is February 18th.

Time: 9:00 - 3:00 p.m. (check-in and breakfast); Program begins at 10:00 a.m. (please be seated by 9:45)
Venue: Arizona Capitol, 1700 W Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85007
Meeting Location: Breakfast and Lunch - Conference room first floor; Program presentations - 2nd Floor Governors conference room
Parking: West side of the Capitol campus
Speakers: Dr. Deborah Turner, LWV US President; Adrian Fontes, Secretary of State; Legislative Leaders of the House and Senate have been invited to speak.

LWV Arizona provides refreshments and lunch; donations to offset costs are greatly appreciated. For lobbying event donations, use this link to donate.

Meet Your Legislators:

The registration form features a section to request appointments with your state senators and representatives. League interns will handle the scheduling. In line with the spirit and purpose of Legislative Lobby Day, we urge all members to champion league advocacy work and priorities during their meetings with legislators. League policy handouts will be distributed prior to the meetings. If you prefer not to meet with legislators, kindly assist us by dropping off the league packet at a legislator's office.

For transportation arrangements, contact local league leaders regarding carpooling or other logistics.

Cancellations: Kindly ensure cancellation by February 18th if you do not plan to attend the event. Our catering arrangements will need adjustment accordingly. Please email us at lwvazadvocacy@gmail.com to inform us of your absence.
