Please read the following before submitting this form.
The
Board of Directors is comprised of the Executive Committee and the Chairperson
from each of the Standing Committees as listed in the By-Laws.
The
Board of Directors is responsible for prioritizing proposed projects,
recommending policies and presenting budget proposals to the President and
General Membership.
Standing
Committees:
1.
Membership
(2 needed;
1 from men’s and 1 from women’s)
Responsible
for gathering and centralizing data for prospective players/parents during preseason.
Once teams are finalized after tryouts, manages membership registration;
manages completion of required Cobb County School District, Hillgrove High
School, and Hillgrove Soccer forms; and manages membership payment versus
rosters for both online (e.g. TeamSnap) and offline/in-person methods.
2.
Communications
The
Communications Committee shall contact members as requested by the President,
provide notification to membership of meetings as requested by the President or
Secretary, and notify members of any upcoming special events by e-mail,
newsletter and/or calling post. The Communications Committee should also advise
the school’s media assignee of any newsworthy events or accomplishments and
prepare a booster insert for use in the student newsletter.
3.
Hospitality/Activities (at least 2 needed; 1 from men’s and 1 from women’s)
Responsible
for planning and coordinating all Booster-sponsored activities of the Club
including volunteer recruitment and management, food, supplies, etc. Includes
(but not limited to) these activities: Season Kickoff Banquet, Teacher
Appreciation Night, Youth Soccer Night, Senior Night, Senior Banquet, End of
Season Banquet, College Signing Day. Other events/activities added as
necessary.
4.
Concessions
(2 needed;
1 from men’s and 1 from women’s)
Responsible
for planning and coordinating all food, supplies, equipment as well as
volunteer recruitment and management for the effective and efficient operation
of concessions.
5.
Fundraising
Responsible
for the planning and execution of fundraising activities including fundraising
strategy and budget development, donor stewardship and recognition, fundraising
solicitation, coordination of fundraising activities, volunteer coordination,
promotion of fundraising needs, sponsorship fulfillment and tracking, thank
yous and appreciation, receipt issuance, compliance, record-keeping, tracking
and reporting progress to the Board.
While there is no term for specified for Chairs or Members of Standing Committees, we would appreciate your commitment for 1 year (January - December), in line with the term of the Officers of Hillgrove Soccer Booster Club.
