Once submitted, your application will be added to our pool of potential mods. We pull from this pool whenever our modque seems to be crying out for attention.

If a part of your application has changed at any point, please modmail us to update it, rather than filling out a duplicate application.

If you haven't heard back from us and would like to follow up on your application, you may send us an inquiry via modmail after two months.

If your application hasn't been accepted after four months and you would like to be reconsidered, you may send us a request via modmail.

All our mods must meet the following expectations. Please check each box if you agree to it. Applications where not all boxes are checked will not be considered. *

All engagements with any user of this sub, our sister sub, our unaffiliated spinoff subs, or even our weird fanfiction sub will be reasonably respectful.

All engagements with other mods will be civil. Disagreements may happen but we are strictly against infighting.

That said, we tend to prefer directness, so you'll have to agree to be blunt and to accept that bluntness from others is not meant as disrespect.

You will not to post racist/ableist/etc shit anywhere, even as a joke.

You agree to maintain at least the minimum mod activity requirements at all times. These expectations are set low to prevent caregiver's fatigue. (Specific activity requirements will be disclosed upon acceptance of your application.)

You agree to join the Discord (if you're not familiar with this chat program, we are happy to teach you) and check in at least once a week.

If you are struggling to meet the two above requirements, you agree to ask for help/direction/guidance/whatever.

You agree to become intimately familiar with our sub's rules and wiki, and generally familiar with the contents of the JustNoMIL Moderator Guidebook.

You agree to always ask if you need something or speak up if you have input, even if it feels like it might be stupid or "not your place."
