PARÁID LÁ le PÁDRAIG/PARADE

Beidh Paráid Lá le Pádraig ar siúl ar an Aoine seo chugainn, 17ú Márta, agus beidh an scoil páirteach ann i mbliana. “CEOL & CRAIC” an téama. Iarraimid ar na páistí gléasadh i bhfeistas glas/Éireannach agus T-Léinte Gaeilge 24 a chaitheamh.

Spreagfaimis an oiread páistí agus is féidir chun siúl lena scoil. Comhlánaigh an fhoirm ar líne thíos le do thoil más féidir le do pháiste a bheith páirteach ann. Tá roinnt tuismitheoirí ag teastáil chun siúl leis na páistí agus chun aghaidheanna a phéinteáil. Is féidir seo a léiriú chomh maith ar an bhfoirm.

NB: Beidh ar thuismitheoirí a pháistí a bhailiú ó gharáiste DAVEY MOTORS, Sráid an Phiarsaigh díreach i ndiaidh AN SCOIL críochnú sa pharáid. Bíonn an scoil de gnáth ag tús na paráide agus mar sin bíonn muid críochnaithe i bhfad roimh an deireadh!

The school will participate in this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade on Friday next  (theme ‘“CEOL & CRAIC”) Children should dress in green/Irish regalia and Gaeilge 24 T-Shirts if possible. Assemble at Excol on Mail Coach Road at 11.30 am or close to it.

The school will design the props (musical instruments etc.) and some of the children will perform real instruments at different points in the parade. The children have been learning 'Dillín ó Deamhas' and 'Da-Dú-Run-Run' as well to sing as we walk along. We would encourage as many children as possible to walk with their school. Please fill the form below if participating. We will need some parents to walk or help paint faces. Please indicate if you are available on the form also.

NB. Parents must collect their children from the old DAVEY MOTORS Garage, Pearse Road (opposite the Mercy Primary) immediately after the school finishes in the parade. Please note that generally the Gaelscoil are amongst the first to walk the parade and therefore are finished a long time before the full parade ends. Somebody must be available to collect children as soon as we are finished, NOT when parade finishes.
