Gift Aid is a wonderful scheme which allows charities to claim back the tax donors have paid to HMRC on their donations.

Benefits to the Parish:
1. We can receive an extra 25p for every £1 you give, and it doesn't cost us anything.
2. If you have donated in the last 4 years or will in the future, we can claim the tax on that too.
3. We can use this extra money to make your support worth more, whether that's an extra cup of tea, repairs to the church, or towards costs for a project in the community.

Benefits to you:
1. You just need to make a declaration once, and we will be able to claim on all your donations.
2. You know that we can do more with your gift at no extra cost to you.
3. Higher rate tax payers can claim further relief on their gifts via their self assessment tax return.

Important
You are only eligible for the scheme if you have paid enough UK income tax or capital gains tax to cover the tax claimed on all your donations in each tax year. If you haven't paid enough tax, then you could be asked to pay it back. Please contact the church office 01633 266076 if you are unsure.
