The aim of this network is to facilitate opportunities for a shared strategic approach to enable schools, organisations, Arts Award centres and supporters to work together and help schools and young people to take full advantage of the local cultural offer. We cover all artforms from music, dance and drama to visual art, poetry, storytelling, design, creative coding and media. We link up eight East London boroughs: Barking and Dagenham, City of London, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge,Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. All of the events (physical and online/webinars) are free and would be very useful to any schools running or wishing to run Arts Award, any schools running or wishing to run Artsmark or any schools (primary, secondary and special) wishing to develop their curriculum in terms of oracy, creativity, project based learning, student voice, use of digital.
