Sign up and serve at the Trash Bash! Help GFWAR clean up the beautiful banks of the Trinity River, right outside our front doors. GFWAR is participating in the TRWD Trash Bash, a one-day community clean up event of our area waterways on Saturday, April 20, at 8 am. The GFWAR offices are located at 2650 Parkview Drive.

What you need to know:

• All ages welcome (as long as they can safely walk the banks and help pick up trash). Children are the responsibility of their parent/guardian.
• Trash pick-up time is from 8 - 10 am. Meet us at the GFWAR offices a little on the early side to enjoy some breakfast snacks and coffee.
• Bring sturdy gloves (or gloves will be provided for each registered volunteer), a hat, sunscreen, and a trash grabber if you’ve got one. Wear closed toe shoes!
• FREE Trash Bash event t-shirts will be available for participants, while supplies last.
• OR wear your GFWAR Fair Housing t-shirt. If you don’t have one, visit the REALTOR® Store to buy one for $10.
• After the pick-up time is done, join us at TRWD’s after party from 10 am – 1 pm. GFWAR will have a table.
• If you plan to participate, please RSVP via the form below with the total number in your party. If you decide to join us at the last minute, or a friend suddenly decides to tag along, that’s okay too!
