PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING!

This is a signup form to be on my waitlist for unexpected cancellation openings. This is not a traditional waitlist form where filling it out is a guarantee that I'll go in order of application - this waitlist is to fill any unexpected cancellations for short notice projects. As my schedule is currently filling for the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, I'm not able to fully open my schedule to new clients at this time, though anyone is welcome to fill out this form (you don't have to already be a client of mine). Any time I have a cancellation I need to fill, I'll go through this waitlist and find someone to contact.

GUIDELINES:
-Please don't ask me the status of your application - I never know when openings will pop up, so I won't be able to give you an answer. Additionally, when I do open schedule slots, I generally have a larger number of applications than I do openings. It's very possible I won't have an opening for you or be able to contact you at all. If that's the case, I'm sorry - I'm trying to present this opportunity as honestly and realistically as I can.

-If your series is urgent and has a deadline/is on your immediate publishing schedule, do not rely on my waitlist having an opening. Have alternate plans. Have a designer picked out for your project in case I don't have space, but PLEASE do not ghost any designers if I find I have an opening for you. Be professional - find another project for your slots with them, or at least cancel with plenty of notice for them to reschedule. Cover designers do talk among ourselves.

-PLEASE FILL THIS FORM OUT SEPARATELY FOR MULTIPLE SERIES/PROJECTS. You can fill out this form as many times as you'd like to pitch me a variety of different projects with different deadlines. When I go through these applications, it will be to find the projects/genres/tropes I feel are the best fit for my skill/ability.

-Please don't take it personally if I can't find schedule space for you or nothing opens up. Based on previous openings, I'm anticipating a rush of applications for this waitlist. I wish I could do it all, but I'm only one person and can only take on so much work.
