National Shelter Housing and Settlements Forum 2023
25 and 26 of April,2023 (Baisakh 11 and 12)
The
National Shelter, Housing and Settlement Forum event is organized with the
purpose of bringing together stakeholders from the shelter, housing, and
settlement sectors in Nepal to discuss and address issues related to these
sectors. The event provides a platform for government agencies,
non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations, and other
stakeholders to exchange information, share best practices, and identify
solutions to emerging issues and challenges.
The
event may also provide an opportunity to showcase innovative approaches and
best practices in the shelter, housing, and settlement sectors, and to
recognize the achievements of individuals and organizations working in these
sectors. Overall, this event plays an important role in promoting
collaboration, coordination, and partnership among stakeholders in the shelter,
housing, and settlement sectors in Nepal.
Conference Theme:
Sustainable and resilient shelter housing and settlements.
Guidance for Expression of Interest (EOI) for facilitation/presentation:
- Is no longer than 200 words.
- Focuses on policy and research that aligns with the conference theme.
- Includes a clear statement on how your presentation will contribute to the sharing of experiences and learning to the national shelter community.
- Outline the content of your presentation and how it relates to the conference theme.
- Beyond 200 words include two sentences describing about the presenter(s)/author(s), and links to any online bio or profiles.
- Focuses on policy, research, implementation that aligns with the conference theme.
Please register your thematic interest and submit an abstract below by the
26 March,2023. The organizers will revert on the results of the selection by
31 March, 2023.
