Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2019 WISEST 101 Session, ensuring that our student researchers get the most out of their Summer Research Program (SRP) experience!

What is WISEST 101:
WISEST 101 is a panel session that gives new SRP students a chance to learn from the experiences of former SRP students. We will be running two sessions (back-to-back) with an audience of 20 new SRP students in each session. WISEST 101 takes place on the first day of the program (as part of orientation) and is very beneficial to the new students.

Who we are looking for:
We would like to have 5 or 6 former SRP students volunteer to act as the panelists to answer any questions that our 2019 Student Researchers have! The purpose of this session is to connect new SRP students with previous program participants so that they can learn from the experiences of former students, gain more confidence for their labs, and be prepared to make the most of the program.
