2024 WSU Programming Camp for Middle Schoolers @ Pullman
Our programming camp team is hosting the 2024 WSU Programming Camp for Middle Schoolers at the Washington State University, Pullman campus! This programming camp is a collaboration between faculty and graduate students from the Computer Science (Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture) and Educational Psychology (College of Education)  programs at Washington State University. Students currently enrolled in middle school (grades 6, 7, and 8) can apply for this camp.

The programming camp will be held from June 17 - June 21, 2024 from 8:00 am to 12:00 p.m. (PST). Drop off will be between 7:40 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is no cost to attend the camp.

The goal of the programming camp is to teach middle schoolers basic programming functions and concepts, and to provide support as students work through different activities related to those functions. At the end of the camp, students should acquire basic understanding of programming and hopefully an increase in programming interest.

Students' understanding of programming will be assessed at the start of the programming camp and again at the end of the camp.
