This form is to register your interest in the 2019 academy course including the opera Beatrice di Tenda by Bellini. The opera will be double cast and each cast will perform publicly. Also, fill in this form if you are interested in chorus only. There is an option to perform as a volunteer in the chorus without attending the festival academy.

Three-week tuition £2,500 plus housing. (Some partial scholarships are available)

2 week opera academy with concerts and opera chorus.
Two-week tuition £2,000 plus housing.

Please make sure that your CV and repertoire lists are no longer than 1 (one) page each. You may also submit information you think would help us to decide on your application for a recital by email as well.

ALSO: Please indicate the repertoire you would like to work on and possibly perform in public master classes and / or concerts. You will be able to change your repertoire until 1 June 2018.
Recommendation
You do not need to submit a recommendation now, but it could make your application much faster. Please have at least one recommendation from a professional who is well-acquainted with your voice forwarded to apply@londonbelcantofestival.co.uk. Please list name and contact of the referee in the space provided. If you are unable to provide a recommendation, please use this space to explain why.
Audition Recordings
Recordings are not required now, but submitting them could expedite your acceptance especially for roles. Please submit the URL to at least 2 (two) representative recordings (audio or video) of you performing live that are recent and unedited. Professionally edited audio and video is discouraged, but will not be rejected. You may submit a URL to YouTube, Sound Cloud, Google Drive, OneDrive or other cloud services. If you would like to submit more than three recordings, you may submit them with your CV. If you are unable to provide representative recordings, please include your reasons in the email with your CV and Repertoire list. If you can't provide the recordings, please give an explanation.

Housing Option *
Will you need housing? This will help us to decide how best to house our young artists. We refer students to the Nido student housing in West Hampstead London. It is a reasonable cost and good location. The cost per night is from £41 (Silver Ensuite) for a single bed room depending on your options. Nido does not do group bookings so students will need to register and pay for their housing themselves. We would normally take care of that, but they will not allow us to book for you.  But since they are much cheaper than others and in the a good location, we have decided to refer students directly to them. You are however free to find housing wherever you like. If you have trouble registering, they have a convenient chat service and are very helpful.
