DC has hundreds of millions of dollars in rental assistance, but the application (at stay.dc.gov) is unintuitive and burdensome. Stomp Out Slumlords (stompoutslumlords.org) needs volunteers with access to a laptop, wifi, and a smartphone who are willing to navigate tenants through the process.
