ICON Cosplay Photo Fest 2024
ICON Cosplay Photo Fest is a weekend that will showcase cosplayers, photographers, and our beautiful and iconic island - lutriwita/Tasmania.
When: September 6-8 2024
Where: based in and around nipaluna/Hobart

ICON Cosplay Photo Festival is a cosplay photography event inspired by events such as Wellington Cosplay Photo Fest in New Zealand, and European events such as Volta in Cosplay.

ICON pays homage to past cosplay and Japanese popular culture events held in Tasmania, while celebrating new and exciting inovations in cosplay and photography.

ICON welcomes cosplayers and photographers of all skill levels, experience, body shape, ethnicity, and gender.

 This event will take place on lutruwita (Tasmania) Aboriginal land, sea and waterways. We acknowledge, with deep respect the traditional owners of this land, the muwinina people.

This is the same form for PHOTOGRAPHERS, COSPLAYERS, and HELPERS.

Please note - as of May 6, any cosplayer who registers will be waitlisted. This is to maintain a balance between photographer and cosplayer numbers. Thank you for your understanding.
