Head Mentor Application Spring 2020

Head Mentors are the project managers for each day. Their leadership is crucial is to foster team camaraderie, take the initiative in difficult situations, and maintain a high attendance among the mentors; the head mentor plays more of an overseer of the other mentors, and does not engage in as much 1 on 1 tutoring (although can if needed). Head mentors will be in charge of properly pairing kids and mentors together in a fashion that produces effective interactions between the pairs. They will also work alongside the site director in formulating a smooth program, as well as assisting in keeping track of supplies and materials. Head mentors will be required to attend the program one day a week.
