RSVP for Ae/eI Festival Days 6 & 7: Totally Functional

The Movement Lab presents: the Artificial environments / environmental Intelligence Festival

The Ae/eI Festival features work-in-progress installations and performances in the Movement Lab every day during the week of February 21-28, all of which are free and open to the public. It is guided by the question, what happens when we close the loop on the constructed binary of nature and technology?

Artificial environments / environmental Intelligence Festival Days 6 & 7:

Totally Functional

Created by Ari Riggins

Monday, February 26th   |   12:30 - 3:30pm

Tuesday, February 27th   |   12:30 - 3:30pm

Inspired by the morphing and self-constructing landscapes of Assateague islands, Riggins explores the creation of a digital landscape, investigating the nature of computing— its origins in knitting machinery and the humanity within programming. Asking the question: How augmented is our reality?

Installation takes place from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM each day.

Capacity in the lab is capped at 40 audience members at a time. Attendees who have RSVP'd before the event will have priority, and admission will be determined on a first come first serve basis on arrival.
