Our affiliates are a very important part of our network. They bring positive influence to real communities by sharing vital information about our ceremonial cacao and drinking chocolate offerings. And they make money while doing so!

HERE IS OUR PROGRAM AT A GLANCE:

- We generally require that affiliates have a combined reach (newsletter, website traffic, and/or social media) of at least 1,000 people, in order to ensure that the program is mutually beneficial.

- The Affiliate Welcome Package (required) is currently a one-time $49 investment and includes product samples (shipping not included) and digital training materials (available on the Affiliate Portal page). This is to better prepare you for success in the program.

- Affiliates receive a coded link to share with their network. When someone clicks it and buys within 7 days, the affiliate gets a commission on the sale. (Applied for one-time purchases or the first purchase in a subscription of physical products, and also for courses. Conditions apply and are listed in the full contract.)

◈ Affiliates are required to consistently share their link in all available channels, online (social media posts, newsletter, and/or other blasts) and/or offline (in-person via QR code). We also ask that affiliates keep the link in their social media bio(s), website, and/or relevant articles. One or all of these channels can be utilized depending on the unique network of the affiliate and what is most effective. One-time digital blasts could include personalized photos, descriptions of our products, info on Soul Lift Cacao's mission, and other relevant content.

- The first 10 referred sales in a month earn a 20% commission on the product price (calculated after a 2.9% deduction to cover our e-commerce payment processing fees)

- Every referred sale after that (11 and up) in a month earns a 25% commission.

- Commissions are counted every time someone clicks the affiliate's link to make a purchase, not only upon the customer's first purchase via the link. So affiliate's can tell people to use the affiliate link every time they purchase.

- Affiliates can choose to embed a 5% discount in their coded link if they think that will motivate people to buy. In that case, their commission becomes 15% for 1-10 referred orders in a month, or 20% for 11 or more orders in a month. (With this method a customer must purchase on that same visit to soulliftcacao.com for it to track a commission for the affiliate. It does not allow the 7-day tracking.)

- Customers can also be given the 5% discount via a coupon code that still tracks the affiliate's commission if the coupon is entered at the checkout page.

◈ Payout is sent through PayPal or Venmo (chosen upon admission) after reaching the payout threshold (standard $25 – adjustable), by the 1st day of the next month after the threshold is reached.

- If an affiliate reaches the payout threshold twice in one month, their threshold will be increased (e.g., $100, or another suitable amount).

- Active affiliates receive a custom discount code for 10% off their own purchases from soulliftcacao.com.

◈ Any affiliate account that is inactive/not referring visitors to our website for a period of 2 months will be subject to termination. The affiliate will be notified of  inactivity but, if no response is received, the account may be deactivated without further warning.

- Soul Lift Cacao can change the terms of the Affiliate Program at any time. In that case we will notify affiliates by email. By continuing to participate in the program, the affiliate will be accepting the new terms.

- An affiliate can leave the program at any time and, if in good standing, we'll settle any remaining commission balance.

AN EXAMPLE SCENARIO:

- Our average online order size is about $70 USD.
- Refer 9 average sales per month with no discount to the customer, and generate commissions in the range of $125.
- Refer 14 average sales per month with no discount to the customer, and generate commissions in the range of $205.
- Success in the program depends on work and willingness to use the custom link and the training we provide.
