Royal Scholars Homeschool Academy Hybrid School Application January-April 2024
Royal Scholars' vision continues to grow and expand, and we welcome all aboard this wonderful ride with us. This past year has brought many changes; those changes continue to mold our organization and help us evolve. This year is going to blow you away! We have so much in store for our students. I am so excited to serve you and your family! 

Please note that we are keeping our numbers small due to the scope and care we are providing students this semester. We only have 14 seats open for our enrollment this year! First come, first served. Thank you for your understanding.

Royal Scholars offers a 3-day-a-week Hybrid School! 
Day 1: Face-to-face from 9-2 (parent drop-off)
Day 2: Virtual 30 minutes according to age group (at home or parents' choice, no physical meeting)
Day 3: Face-to-face from 10-12 (parent can drop off or stay)

Every day, as children enter our doors, our structured school day offers them the chance to explore, innovate, and be creative. In collaboration with their parents, each child has the chance to delve into their specific areas of interest and engage in investigative activities.

Students will learn valuable, practical skills to enable them to evolve into contributing citizens and leaders capable of creating a positive impact not only in their communities but beyond as well. 

Why choose RSHA Hybrid School?
RSHA curriculum was designed by a former teacher with the highest of honors and over 15 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Thomas is a former National Board Certified Teacher, Former Teacher of the Year, and has her Master's Degree. Mrs. Thomas considers herself a life-long learner and enjoys creating engaging curricula for students to thrive. Mrs. Thomas understands multiple intelligences and provides a variety of methods for her students to learn one concept. She believes education is discovery and unique to each learner. She believes there are many roads to lead to an answer and children deserve the freedom to explore those roads to find which one they travel best. 

Mrs. Thomas believes in giving children choices and providing them with the tools they need to make positive choices and develop their leadership skills. Mrs. Thomas sees herself as a facilitator in the classroom and is there to assist her students in discovering their paths.  Mrs. Thomas is dedicated to encouraging her students to be creative, critical thinkers who will lead our future generations. As a lifelong learner herself, Mrs. Thomas continually pursues the latest educational trends and research to enhance her teaching.

Curriculum:
Our curriculum allows for customized learning paths for each child to suit their preferences and agreed upon area of study by parents and child. Furthermore, we introduce a monthly focus based on the life-ready learner's curriculum with take-home activities!

Fees:
$50 Enrollment Fee- nonrefundable 
$675/per semester per child  - *10% discount for families of multiples (partial scholarships are available, payment plans available)

I understand, fees paid to the program will cover catered lunch, snacks on both days, teacher fees, facility fees and supplies. Therefore, refunds will not be issued. I also understand, funds from this semester cannot be transferred to another semester regardless of attendance. *
Anytime during class, field trips, or social gatherings Royal Scholars Homeschool Academy will be taking pictures and videos to use for advertising and promotional purposes. Select pictures and videos will be posted on the Royal Scholars Homeschool Academy's Facebook page, group, or any other advertising material. I understand pictures and/or videos of my child/children may be used in advertising for Royal Scholars Homeschool Academy. *
 I understand Royal Scholars is operating as a hybrid school. I understand, I am dropping my child off at 9am and will return to pick my child up at 2pm.  *
I agree if there is anyone in my household who has been diagnosed with Covid 19 or has flu like symptoms I will stay home for a minimum of 2 weeks. We want to insure the health and safety of all of the participants in the program so please, if you feel sick, stay home. *
Masks are not required, however feel free to wear one if you'd like. Although we will be taking every precaution to reduce the spread of Covid 19 nothing is guaranteed. I agree that Royal Scholars Homeschool Academy nor the hosting facility is responsible for contracting Covid 19. I am participating at my own risk. *
I agree that I am participating in RSHA Hybrid School at my own risk. I will not hold RSHA nor the hosting facility liable or responsible should I or my child get hurt on the premises or on a RSHA sponsored outing/activity. I am participating at my own risk. *
