Wishes, hopes, dreams, and regret -- the pillars that define the universal intimacy of human experience and emotion. This November, all will come together in Sana, a collaboration project by the Sigaw ng Kabataan Coalition, Rotary Satellite Club of FBGC Titans, Rotaract Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City along with the Rotaract Clubs of Miraculous Medal - Sucat, Makati United, and Makati on October 24, 2019 at the Commune Cafe + Bar, 36 Polaris in Makati.

Through spoken poetry, the project will bring together artists, dreamers, and change-makers of all ages to share their stories in spoken word form revolving on the theme of Sana -- on the wishes, aspirations, hopes, and dreams that lie at the very heart of human experience -- be it the innocent wishes of children to receive presents, the desire of couples for togetherness, or of the homeless for hospitality and humanity.

The project will also raise awareness for the organizations’ advocacy of doing good to the world albeit in small increments, and act as a fundraiser for an upcoming Tribal outreach and immersion activity, the Books and Toys for Mangyan Children Project (BTMC) and the Musikalsada - a project that aims to engage STREET KIDS to Music. All proceeds from Sana will be used for the upcoming project which will be held in Mindoro on October 25-27, 2019.  The BTMC Project has been in action for four years, providing literacy programs for Mangyan children of selected communities. This year’s program will include games, story-telling, gift-giving, and a feeding program, as well as providing educational materials and supplies to aid the children’s informal learning. Its goals in the long run are to facilitate the construction of schools for ethnic minorities through crowd-funding.
