College Event for Parents: Navigating Financial Aid
Thursday, February 20
6:30 - 8:00 PM
Hyde Chapel, Memphis University School
Presented by the college counseling departments of MUS, Hutchison, and St. Mary's

It is never too early to think about how to pay for college, and one of the biggest challenges families face is how to interpret financial aid offers. We are excited to provide parents a unique opportunity to learn from professionals.

We will be using a case-study model to educate parents about how to anticipate and interpret financial aid packages.

Dean of Admission & Financial Aid Lee Ann Backlund, Sewanee;
Director of the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Brent Tener; Vanderbilt;
and Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships Jeffrey Gerkin, University of Tennessee at Knoxville
will walk families through the process of determining need and making financial aid decisions.

This could be one of the most important college programs you will ever attend.
