CBL Spring 2021 Interest Form
The Office of Community-Based Learning (CBL) has a number of local partner organizations in the Greater Baltimore region who have indicated that they are interested in Goucher student volunteers.
Examples include: mentoring/tutoring with area schools, one-time volunteer experiences in area organizations, in-person farming/gardening, and invasive species removal/tree planting.  CBL is happy to connect students who would like to participate in these activities during the spring semester to these organizations. Please complete this form if you are interested in learning more, and would like to be contacted by someone from the Office of Community-Based Learning (completing this form does not commit you to the experience).

We will begin recruiting students to apply for our Student Leaders for Civic Action leadership role in late Spring. Due to the pandemic, we will be opening this role, for the first time, to students who have not participated in CBL before (because our in-person programs haven't run since last February). It is a competitive, paid leadership role students who wish to serve as leaders within Goucher College’s many off-campus Community-Based Learning Programs. We seek students who are passionate about service and community-based learning, and have a thoughtful, informed understanding of social justice. Please let us know if you'd be interested in learning more about the program and the role.
