Research Mentor Training - Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in Research Mentor Training, sponsored by the Graduate School! This research-based interactive training helps you reflect on and discuss with other mentors ideas and strategies to help you feel more prepared to effectively mentor graduate (and undergraduate) students in research. 

The full training is 8-9 hours, spread over 2, 3 or 4 days, depending on the time of the year and facilitator availability. Most trainings are in person, but we occasionally offer trainings over Zoom (we do not offer any hybrid sessions because of the difficulty of making these truly interactive).

We aim to offer training several times per year, at times that are convenient for most faculty. If there are no upcoming trainings listed on our webpage, or the scheduled times don't work for you, we offer this form as a way to ensure that we will notify you when new trainings are scheduled.

Because the way faculty work with graduate students varies across disciplines, some of our trainings focus on faculty from specific Colleges. Your answers on this form will help us notify you of the most appropriate trainings for you.
