CURE Panel

February 16th, 3:00 p.m.

Mudd 3 South Classroom, The Claremont Colleges Library

This event will feature a panel of Claremont Colleges professors who have incorporated classroom-based undergraduate research (CURE) into their laboratory courses, including both intro and upper-division examples. Possible discussion topics include 1) possible motivations for doing a CURE; 2) how to design and implement a CURE; 3) experiences and lessons learned. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences. The goal of the workshop is to introduce novices to CUREs and share experiences among those already teaching CUREs.

Moderator: Sadie Otte

Panelists: Janet Sheung (Keck Science Physics), Sara Olson (Pomona Biology), Dave Vosburg (Harvey Mudd Chemistry), Aaron Leconte (Keck Science Chemistry), and Jason Tor (Keck Science Introductory Labs)
