Pre-Kindergarten, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Extended Learning Options

Right now, school districts and pre-school experts are working to create a stronger system of pre-kindergarten options for children and parents.

Over the next five years, transitional kindergarten (TK) will change. By the time school starts in 2025, any child who turns four by September 1 will be able to go to TK. This means more 4-year-old children will be able to go.

This short survey will help our workgroup learn what parents want and need for their young children.
