Welcome to this year's VIRTUAL Science & Invention Fair! Please indicate your student(s) participation by completing the form below. Please read carefully and complete all sections that pertain to your family and remember to hit SUBMIT at the end of the form for your information to be recorded. It is important to note that we will be using the fun and kid-friendly platform FlipGrid again this year to showcase all student projects. Your child may already know how to use it! Students must use their school-issued laptop or iPad to access FlipGrid to record a short presentation of their project. (See below for instructions).
*We strongly recommend working individually or with siblings to maintain social distancing.*
Students can use a project display board (you can find these at the Dollar Store, Walmart, Target, etc.) or they can simply display their work on a table or a wall. We understand that some students may not want to appear on video, and that's ok! Please encourage them to use a strong, loud presentation voice if they are off camera, and have visuals to go along with their project.
All projects must be submitted to FlipGrid by Thursday, November 18th.
We will open the Science & Invention Fair for viewing on Friday, November 19th.
Please first register below. Then, when your student is ready to record, please follow these instructions on how to access FlipGrid. (You are welcome to visit the FlipGrid site BEFORE your student records their presentation, for more ideas and helpful tips for creating a great project).

If you have any questions, please contact the Science Fair Co-Chairs at:
sciencefair@southfayettepta.orgRemember: The projects are NOT judged and must be done primarily by the student(s). We understand that some guidance and direction by parents is necessary so we recommended that parents help students think through what will make an interesting project and a convincing presentation. Have fun experimenting and inventing! Please continue to next section to register...
