Scholarship Application
Thanks to generous support, the Virginia Discovery Museum is able to provide a limited number of scholarships for our summer camps this year. Please see below for details on this financial aid program.

Details:

• Applications must be received at least two weeks prior to the camp start date.

• Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling scale based on financial need on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Scholarships cover one summer camp per child.  

• All information submitted to VDM is confidential.

• Income documentation can be verified using previous year tax returns or recent pay stubs (last 2 months). Our Director of Operations will contact you to discuss verification.

• Families are responsible for arranging transportation for children to and from programs/camps. VDM is easily accessible by public transportation and validates parking at the Market Street Garage and Water Street Garage.

Summer Camps
VDM is offering 8 week-long, half-day summer camps for kids ages 4-8 that cover a wide range of STEAM-focused topics. • Check-in will begin at 8:55 a.m. daily in the Museum lobby. Please pack nut-free lunches for your child. Pickup starts at 1:00 p.m. daily in the Museum lobby.
