2021 WTU Teacher Leader Symposium
Teacher Leaders are full-time educators who have been selected to join a nationwide AFT network. They are taking an active role in influencing policy in a number of areas, including teacher leadership in school change, teacher preparation, professional development, the role of high stakes testing and teacher evaluation.
 
WTU Teacher Leaders have regularly discussed policies that impact student achievement and  
have participated in discussions with journalists, elected officials and leading policy experts.
PART 1: May 13 @ 5-7pm on Zoom
Topics: Discipline Policy, Parental Involvement, Tracking Meaningful Student Data, Teacher Retention, Virtual Learning
