Mentorship & Resilience Program (MRP)

The Mentorship & Resilience Program is one-year mentorship program designed to provide support, guidance, and positive role models for Black post-secondary students. The program aims to address the unique challenges faced by Black youth by offering mentorship relationships that build their social capital, networking skills, and resilience.

Who can join: Professionals who want to give back and mentor Black students to navigate professional environments

How long is the mentorship program: One year (Beginning April 2024)

What is the commitment for one year period: Meet in-person or online with your mentee once every month, and attend two events (the program launch and program close events)

What do I get out of it: Contribute to the social and professional growth, development, and confidence of Black students by sharing your expertise and experiences. 

When will I hear back once I complete this form: A few days after you submit your form (April, 2024)

CONSENT:  Completing this short survey and participating in the mentorship is voluntary. The results obtained in this program may be presented in an academic journal or at a conference. Only aggregate results are reported so that the results cannot be identified with you.

If you decide to participate, you are free to withdraw your consent and to discontinue participation at any time without prejudice.

Completing and handing in (submitting) this survey/form indicates your consent to participate in the mentorship study program.
