Accessibility Barriers and Challenges in the Municipality of the County of Inverness
The Accessibility Advisory Committee was developed to advise the Municipality of the County of Inverness Council on accessibility barriers, challenges, and improvements while developing a Municipal Accessibility Plan.

The Committee wants to learn from residents about accessibility challenges and barriers they face in communities throughout the Municipality. A barrier is defined as anything that challenges or does not allow the full participation of persons with disabilities in society.

This feedback will assist the Accessibility Advisory Committee to develop and implement an accessibility plan for the Municipality to become fully accessible by 2030, in accordance with the Province’s Accessibility Act.

If you wish to share your thoughts with someone and not complete the survey, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator, Maggie MacDonald by phone at (902)258-7960 or by emailing maggie.macdonald@invernesscounty.ca.
